Track Record

ESOX has been developed for the offshore wind industry after a decade of experience working with planning, simulation and execution of offshore wind projects. In offshore wind, our ESOX tools are used for analysis of transport, pre-assembly, load-out, transit, installation, commissioning and operation.

Since 2015, LAUTEC has undertaken modeling using ESOX and ESOX+ for more than 5GW of offshore wind capacity across North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. Now, the new ESOX tool enables all project participants to independently do most of the analysis that is needed in an offshore wind project.

Benefits

Free, Simple, Global

Free, easy-to-use tool combined with a global re-analysis database.

Features

More complexity needed?

Our specialists are here to assist you with high complexity modeling using ESOX+

Identify Critical Activities
ESOX DATA EXAMPLE

Critical Activities

Identify the most cost-effective installation setup by exploring what activities are causing the most downtime and by analyzing how changes in operational constraints impact downtime.

Identify Critical Weather Parameters
ESOX DATA EXAMPLE

Critical Weather Variables

Identify critical weather variables for each installation scenario by using the breakdown of how individual weather variables contribute to the total downtime.

Generate Weather Calendars for Time Scheduling
ESOX DATA EXAMPLE

Weather Calendars for Time Scheduling

Generate monthly weather calendars for Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Evaluate Seasonal Downtime
ESOX DATA EXAMPLE

Seasonal Downtime Evaluation

Quantify seasonal variations in weather downtime in order to identify the preferred installation periods.

Forecast Milestone Dates
ESOX DATA EXAMPLE

Milestones Dates Forecast

Estimate completion dates for each position for any confidence (percentile) value. Example displays forecasted completion dates for a construction campaign with 70 positions, starting January 1st.
